We purchased a Victorian era townhouse 22 years ago. It was a fixer-upper, which was exactly what we were looking for as two young aspiring architects, full of enthusiasm and seemingly unlimited energy. We were sold on the 'good bones' as the realtor was sure to tell us. The kitchen is the last vestige of this house. I have to confess that our ideas changed and developed over the years as we carried on our busy lives raising two children and a dog, while working for renowned architectural and interior design firms.
A labour of love
